I am always looking for new hair removal methods. Bikini Season is here and I want to be as smooth and hair-free everywhere I can!

There are several types of hair removal process. Shaving, Waxing, Sugaring, Tweezing, Threading, Epilation, and several others.

Shaving is quick, but it makes removes the hair only at skin level. A common myth, is that shaving makes the hair grow back thicker and coarser. While this is not true, shaving does cause the original tapered end of the hair to be cut down, leaving a blunt end. When the new hair grows back, it's short and not as flexible as the longer hair would be. So, it does APPEAR to look thicker and darker from shaving. Age and sun exposure actually make the hair darker and thicker.

In any case, I still hate the way shaving makes the hair feel when it grows back. Hair can grow back at different speeds, depending on the woman and some ladies have to reshave only 1 day later.

There are some alternatives, like the ones I listed above. Threading is much like what you will read about below. Threading removes the hair at the follicle, but without tearing the hair. Removing it at the follicle basically means it will reduce the length of time it takes to grow back.
